Privacy Policy
Effective August 21, 2026. This policy describes how Nerddi OS handles information when you use the gaming console at os.nerddi.com.
CentroShield identity
Guest play does not require a CentroShield account. If you choose to sign in, Nerddi OS uses CentroShield as its identity provider. CentroShield may provide Nerddi OS with a stable account identifier, username/display name, email address, and CentroShield wallet address when those fields are available to the authorized client. Nerddi OS uses the stable CentroShield subject identifier to link your Nerddi gaming profile across sessions and devices.
Gaming and social data
Nerddi OS may store your chosen display name and console accent, friends and friend requests, achievements, completed-match history, rankings or matchmaking records, and other persistent game progress that a game explicitly supports.
Controllers and game rooms
Phone controllers exchange room, input, readiness, latency, connection-health and gameplay telemetry needed to run a game. Nerddi uses direct browser-to-browser FastPath connections when available and server relay as a fallback. Room and controller credentials are treated as private session data and are not intended to be exposed in public room listings.
Technical and security information
Nerddi OS may process network addresses, browser/device information, request timing, rate-limit identifiers, error information, and similar technical data to operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot connections, and improve controller performance. Where the current application stores network identifiers for analytics or abuse prevention, it uses one-way hashing rather than intentionally publishing raw identifiers.
Local device storage
The web console and SmartController may use browser storage, cookies, cache and service-worker data for session continuity, controller resume, settings and performance. Authentication cookies are configured for server sessions and are not intended to expose OAuth tokens to browser JavaScript.
OAuth tokens
Nerddi OS exchanges the CentroShield authorization code on the server. Access and identity tokens are used to establish the Nerddi session and are not intentionally stored in the Nerddi gamer profile, match history, friends database, or browser localStorage.
Third-party services
Nerddi OS can launch or integrate separately operated services, including CentroShield for identity and PointsBall/VBA experiences. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and changes
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate profiles, social features, rankings, security, game history and the service itself, subject to applicable law. This policy may be updated as Nerddi OS adds cloud saves, new games, online services or other features.
